Downtown Post Office
It was an exciting November as the campaign came to a close and the election finished. I am so proud of the work so many of you put in to help get me elected. I want to thank everyone who contributed to the campaign, put a yard sign up, helped walk the Ward and most importantly, voted.
I am writing today for two reasons. First, there is an important issue in Golden that needs everyone’s attention. The USPS is considering putting our downtown post office up for sale. Secondly, it has been a while since the last newsletter and I wanted to let everybody know what to expect going forward.

I continue to receive great feedback on the Wrap Up and this week I wanted to share a few exchanges I have had about the priorities that I listed last week. These are issues that came from you, the residents of Ward 3. Before that, I ask you to get your ballots in. Through Friday, only 403 of the over 2,600 registered voters in Ward 3 had sent in their ballots. For those of you that have already voted, thank you! Please pass the word and tell all of your friends to vote!

Lawn Maintenance, Hyw 58, Hwy 93, and October 10th
I have had great responses to my first email detailing my campaign to date. You can find this and all my e-newsletters going forward on my website. Quite a few of the responses asked questions about the woman who lived next to an overgrown yard and how I was able to work with the city to have the lawn maintained. In this edition of the Ward 3 Wrap Up I will discuss the city's municipal code regarding lawn maintenance; respond to some financial questions about the new bridge and the sound barrier along Hwy 93; and talk about a big day coming up in Golden.

The Campaign
A large part of my campaign has been focused on communicating with the residents of Ward 3. This is the inaugural edition of the Ward 3 Wrap Up.
